I started working on satellite receivers
over 20 years ago when I had a 12 foot wire mesh dish and
have been doing it ever since. At first I just worked on
my own receivers, but over the years friends, both local
and online, asked me about helping them and I did. Now that
I am semi-retired I decided to open a website and continue
helping others with their satellite receiver problems. When
I get really busy I have a few that help me out with the
shipping and customer contact. Harps Products is an in home
business and I strive to keep my customers happy. This is
done by keeping the prices among the lowest on the web,
fast repair and fast return shipping.
For those of you who have been around for
a long time, you might remember me on some of the forums
under the nick of 'Harp' or Harp216.' I don't get around
the forums much any more as far as posting, but still read
them daily and keep abreast of what's going on in the hobby
of Free To Air Satellite.
I put up an FTA Products page and will add
more products over time. Please feel free to suggest products
you would like to see. Keep in mind the FTA market is very
competitive and we are not able to offer everything, but
will certainly try our best to give you what you want.
I don't have a contact telephone number listed
because I experienced far too many calls that were none
service or product related from people that did not take
the time to read what I furnished them or search on their
own. I found myself spending far too much time spoon feeding
people and I know from experience none are helped with spoon
feeding as the information is not retained as well as when
one researches and reads on their own. I do give customers
the option of including their number when ordering for me
to use if needed, but in able to keep costs as low as possible
and in light of the amount of business I receive it just
isn't practical or cost effective for me to list a number.
I get back to those who email questions in a timely fashion
and most issues can be resolved by communicating via email.
